Project Overview
The Network for Crisis Management is an inter-city network for development of human resources concerned with crisis management as well as endeavoring to share experience and know-how in crisis management and promoting the accumulation thereof. In addition an Emergency Hotline has been created among the participating cities in order to facilitate the timely exchange of information in both normal times as well as times of disaster.
Expected results
Mutual enhancement of crisis management capabilities through cooperation between the cities.

Overview
1.Crisis Management Conference
The Network for Crisis Management holds an annual conference, where disaster management officials from Asian cities gather to share their experiences and expertise and exchange opinions, with the aim of enhancing the cities' crisis management capabilities.
2.Human Resource Development
The Network for Crisis Management holds an annual conference, where disaster management officials from Asian cities gather to share their experiences and expertise and exchange opinions, with the aim of enhancing the cities' crisis management capabilities.
■Joint training at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Comprehensive Disaster Management Drill
The Network for Crisis Management conducts joint training at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Comprehensive Disaster Management Drill. Rescue teams from participating cities take park in the training to enhance their capabilities.
■Fire Rescue Techniques Training Course for Crisis Management Network Cities
The Network for Crisis Management conducts training for instructors of firefighting and rescue techniques. This is provided in two stages, training in Tokyo and follow-up training in the participating cities, to enhance the skills of rescue workers in accordance with the needs of each city.
■Search and Rescue training
The Network for Crisis Management, jointly with the Singapore Civil Defence Force, conducts urban search and rescue training to enhance the practical skills of rescue workers.
3.Exchange of Information via Emergency Hotline
Information is exchanged among participating cities regarding crisis management in both normal times as well as times of disaster through the Emergency Hotline, which makes use of a mailing list.
